I am an experienced collaborative lawyer and focus my practice on the peaceful and fair resolution of legal issues arising from separation and divorce, including custody, support and division of property. I have helped a wide variety of clients including business owners, executives, and their spouses to reach mutually acceptable and durable agreements that allow them to move forward with their lives with peace and dignity.

My approach with collaborative cases is to use a collaborative team (including family and financial specialists) to assist separating couples to resolve family law disputes in a cost-effective and non-adversarial way addressing the fact that separation occurs on legal, emotional and financial levels. As of late, I have continued to help my clients to participate in the collaborative process using video conferencing technology to conduct joint settlement meetings.

In addition to my private practice, I serve as a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Superior Court of Justice, Family Court in Oshawa where I assist parties to narrow or settle issues in their court cases before their matters come before a judge.
