I am an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. I have been practising family law and matrimonial law since 2007.

Over my years of practicing family law, I have learned that given the emotional characteristics with family law and matrimonial law, it is always best for the lawyer and the client to canvass a less, litigious approach to resolve these cases, if, when, and where possible. The interest-based approach in collaborative law process aims to allow the parties to reach a resolution which they both have participated in creating, and in which they both will find satisified with the mutual win result. I firmly believe in the collaborative law process, and its associated transparent, respectful team approach taken to resolve family law disputes. The collaborative law process often may call on other experts from different professional backgrounds to assist the parties to reach a resolution. These experts include family professionals, and financial professionals, and together with the lawyers, they work together to achieve an interest-based resolution.
