I became a Collaborative Family Lawyer when I realized it offered certain things court often does not: privacy, creativity and clarity. I have found that when clients have an honest discussion about their families and finances in a safe, collaborative setting, they are more likely to achieve a mutually agreeable resolution that is fair, appropriate and cost-effective. As separation can be an extremely difficult and emotional time, I will advocate for you while also coming up with solutions that assist you in moving forward.

Prior to becoming a family lawyer, I practised at a corporate/securities law firm on Bay Street. I now devote my work exclusively to family law and enjoy negotiating both comprehensive parenting plans and complex financial settlements. Although my practice is largely settlement-oriented, I have litigation experience and am a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children's Lawyer. I am an avid reader and contributing editor to Wilson's On Children and the Law, a reference for all current laws pertaining to children.
