Stephanie Stavro-Pearce is an experienced Child and Family Therapist providing services to young people, adults and families. As a trained Collaborative Family Professional, Stephanie supports clients through the emotional difficulties that often surface during family change and separation. Stephanie’s focus is to facilitate the resolution of outstanding issues, while ensuring the best interests of children are continuously considered during decision making. Stephanie offers divers practice methods to meet the needs, preferences and goals of clients.

Stephanie’s goal is for family members to feel greatly supported throughout the separation process. With the help of a family professional, individuals can reach agreements out of court that are fair, lasting, and most importantly, meet the unique needs of their family. Stephanie has observed how the collaborative process can significantly minimize on-going conflict among families, and help family members positively move forward with their lives.

Stephanie holds a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Toronto and is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. Stephanie has helped clients in various settings; her professional experience includes family mediation, facilitating educational workshops through Victim Services Toronto, presenting at the AFCC conference, and counselling in both the public and private school system. In addition to Collaborative Family Practice, Stephanie provides individual counselling to young people and adults, and specialized separation/parenting services.
