NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Annual General Meeting of the members of The Collaborative Family Law Association of Ontario – Toronto Group (the “Corporation”) will be held at 108 Chestnut Street, Toronto, Ontario (DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel) on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 1:00pm for the purpose of:
(a) To receive and consider the financial statements and reports of the directors of the Corporation for the financial year ended December 31, 2018.
(b) To confirm the continuation of Jacqueline Peeters, Shirley Levitan, Mitchell Ornstein, Doug Craig, Caroline Felstiner, Cori Kalinowski, Linda Bronicheski and Judy Walsh as directors, in accordance with Articles 3 and 10 of By-Law No. 1(A).
(c) To consider the nominations of Rui Alves (Lawyer), Seema Jain (Lawyer) and Catherine Koutsogiannopoulos (Lawyer), and any other nominations put before the Secretary of the meeting prior to the commencement of the meeting and to elect three (3) of the said nominees as directors of the Corporation for a term of two (2) years. Could those members who wish to run for election to the board please email Shirley Levitan at shirley@familyandfertilitylaw.ca with intention to do so by no later than Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 5:00pm.
(d) To transact such further and other business as may properly come before the Annual General Meeting of the members.
If you are a voting member and you are unable to attend the meeting, you may complete and return the attached Proxy appointing your representative to vote at the meeting on your behalf and return same to the Secretary of the meeting prior to the commencement of the meeting.
